Sharron
Domeny believes there is more to selling real estate than simply
closing deals; it’s about creating lasting relationships. Whether
its personal service, attention to detail, or skilled negotiations,
Sharron is personally involved in all her transactions. I know this
to be true. She sold my son and daughter-in-law their first home in
Boise, and they keep me updated through their continual contact with
her. " My best friends today are my clients,” says Sharron, “I’m on
my way now to play golf with friends who are former clients.”
When
asked what she considers the important elements for a successful
real estate career, Sharron listens carefully before responding.
Work ethic is how she describes it, along with tenacity and
perseverance. You soon catch on to her great sense of humor with its
combination of seriousness. “I’ve always had a work ethic that
requires me to be the best I can be at what I do. For example, I won
the Strawberry Picking Championship in the state of Washington when
I was 14 years old. I woke up early and picked late.” This work
ethic, coupled with her ability to not only listen, but to hear the
needs of others, has carried our teenage strawberry picking champion
to the pinnacle of success in Idaho Real Estate.
Specializing in distinctive properties, Sharron markets
aggressively. Although most of her business today is through
referral, she continues to advertise extensively. With her "can do”
attitude she doesn't wait for buyers to find her; she swims out to
greet them. “I could probably continue on the same pace without
additional advertising, but there is 24 hours in a day and I’m
living all of them.”
Having
lived and traveled extensively throughout the world, Sharron
understands the importance of finding the right living environment,
and in 1980, chose Boise as the perfect place to call home. Leaving
the security of the corporate world behind, she carved her career in
real estate. “I’m a people person, and I like the independence that
comes with real estate.” With 6 children, a platoon of
grandchildren, 14 years in the business and over $120,000,000 in
sales, her passion for life has elevated her to the top in both her
personal and professional endeavors. If Sharron is not selling
property, look for her on the ski slopes in the winter and on the
golf course in Idaho’s other three seasons. Chances are, she will be
hanging out with former clients.
